#RedBullMusic

Being as a typically drink a Red Bull everyday it was kind of nice getting all of those free cases of Red Bull and loading up the back of a Uhaul trailer with a 100+ cases and going to do a Red Bull drop on a college campus or busy street corner. My first project with Red Bull Music was actually in conjunction with the Angad Arts Hotel where we built a custom one of a kind Dj booth. After that I helped celebrate the Nightchaser’s 5 year Anniversary. The theme for the event was based of Alexis Tucci and her love of disco balls as well as incorporating elements from the St.Louis science centers planetarium where the cap-off event would be held.

Nightchasers Event

Leading up the event we did Red Bull drops at the corner of Cherokee & Jefferson during the print bazaar a busy big foot traffic event. We did the drop outside of the St.Louis Hop Shop and dropped the disco ball full of Red Bull while artist Sir Blanco did a live mural. In the week leading up to the main event we also did Red Bull drops at Washington University, Layla @ the Grove and outside of the Gazellig while artist Killer Napkins did another large scale outside mural.

Red Bull Drops

I handled everything from the design and creation of the disco ball to the transportation of the disco ball drops, to getting Red Bull from the warehouse to fill up the ball, picking artists and supplying them direction and supplies. I created the flyers and secured the spaces for the live art and ball drops to take place, created custom enamel pins and Merch. I made sure everything we did fell within the Red Bull Music brand guidelines, ensured deadlines were met and footage and content were captured to promote the event.

The end result was a successful campaign and promotion leading up to a truly one of a kind night to celebrate the night chaser 5 year anniversary.
