The intersection of art & creativity

Make It

19th & Locust // Headquarters

I had no idea that the office at 1900 Locust street would become a mecca for creativity and home for so many things.

Some of the activities included.

What started as just a simple move from 1901 Locust to right across the street started a snowball of creativity that blossomed and continued to keep growing. I like to think of us as the city museum of incubators. Everytime someone would come back down to the office there was always something new going on and we were constantly evolving and growing and fostering new creative endeavours. It became a staple and a safe place for ideas and creatives.

  • Units 300 & 301 - 3rd Floor

While my oroginal lease was only for unit 300 on the 3rd floor, I moved into the space while former St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Famer Jim Edmonds owned the building. He was running a restaurant on the first floor - banquet and event space on the second floor and the third floor consisted of 3 offices - mine (300) 301 which would later become mine as well but housed Tim McCernan inside sports radio show and a law office consisting of different lawyers.

  • Design Dungeon

When the restaurant and building sat for sale and was waiting for a new owner, we took the civil liberty to expand our operations underground. The building was built in the 1890’s with the third floor where our original office was located was added on in 1910. The basement was scary and most likely haunted. What started as a place to shoot bow and arrows, we quickly turned it into a maker space complete with a wood cutting shop, screen printing, and multi use anything goes location.

Design Dungeon

Our maker space was home for many things. Initially it was just a place to shoot our bow and arrow gun. Quickly became a hub for woodworking, screen printing and a whole lot more.
